HIGHLIGHTS 2010:

In February HOSTS for HOSPITALS was part of the local-state-federal governmental and non-governmental effort to bring Haitian patient-families to Philadelphia for medical care. As the lead agency for providing free short and long term lodging, HfH reserved 100 host-homes for these families. The federal government canceled the effort due to record snowfalls in Philadelphia.

On September 27-28 HfH Executive Director Mike Aichenbaum and Director of National Programs Nancy Wimmer traveled to Hollywood, Florida as consultants for the creation of a host-homes program for the Memorial Regional Health System.
